MCS Flooring is family owned and operated by Sonja and Ross McLeod. Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality flooring and carpeting services at competitive prices. Meet the MCS Flooring team
Ross, Sonja, & Kylee McLeod
MCS Installations was formed 20 years ago, an acronym for McLeods Carpet Service. Ross has been a flooring installer for 36 years. Ross and Sonja have been together over 20 years and have raised 6 children together. They now have 8 grandchildren. Sonja is a Sault Tribe member and has been in customer
service for 31 years with the Tribe.

MCS Flooring is 51% Native Woman owned business. Sonja does clerical work, Inventory, payroll, Sonja is Accounts receivable and payable.
Some accounting skills, bookkeeping & marketing skills. Ross is a 49% owner with over 3 decades of experience in business.
Kylee is our store mascot!!

Dakota started with us in 2025, and has been a real asset. His customer service, and attention to details to help you find your perfect flooring solutions or working in the warehouse prepping materials and loading installers.
We are proud to have him on our team!

Nikki
Nikki has been part of our team since 2024, and we've had the pleasure of knowing her throughout her life. Nikki brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to helping our customers. When she's not assisting customers, Nikki keeps busy behind the scenes updating material pricing, monitoring sales, and searching for great deals to pass along to our customers.

Sonja is the backbone of our operations. She has the hardest jobs that nobody gets to see. Sonja handles our accounts tracking, Payroll, Marketing and advertising along with communication with our vendors, customer support and service calls!
